Well, if I was stoked last week over our Naughty Girl For A Day, I have to be as equally excited this week since we scored the other half of the brilliant duo that is SneakySnarkySubs. Today we have Siobhan2006 the co-author of my fave fic Learning to Kneel. She spotlights some of her must read authors...
Hey everyone! I'm Siobhan2006 (the sneaky half of the sneaky snarky subs) and I am so psyched to get to be a Naughty Girl for A Day!
When Cullen818 asked us to be 'Naughty Girls' LBK and I both started going crazy lol In a good way of course! It's an exciting thing for the both of us and I wanted to thank Cullen818 for inviting us to do this :)
I honestly had no clue what to do for this either, and probably bugged the hell out of LBK with my ramblings and worries LOL. But I didn't want to just rec out some of my favorite fics because that would just take forever! So instead I decided to rec out my favorite Authors. When these particular people come out with new stories (or update current ones) I am one of the first ones in line (so to speak) to read it. Then I stalk them on Twitter or wherever to see when they'll be updating again. These ones have never let me down with a bad story and I honestly don't think they're even capable of writing anything bad! Everything they put out is pure genius. And I fucking love it.
First on my list, the one and only Cullen818. I don't even have to go into detail about why she is fuckawesome, anyone that reads her stories already knows! It started with the Fate/Hope/Love trilogy and has continued on with the AH story 'Bella's Secret'. Anything she writes is one of those, “drop everything you're doing and read”. What I wouldn't give to be a pre-reader for her! *wink wink* Or to even just get inside her mind and see what kind of fuckery is going on in there, cause you know whatever is in there is going to be good.
Next is GreeneyedGirl17. She writes (and reads) only Bella/Edward stories but has a way of instantly capturing your attention. Her stories are filled with drama and angst and eventually love. Her stories are one of the only ones that I will actually go back and re-read just for the hell of it. And I don't do that very often! Lol She doesn't write anything dark (I know I know, can't believe I read anything NOT dark huh?) but once in a while it's good to just be able to sit back with a story that you know for a fact is going to have a HEA where there's no dark characters. Again, the drama is there, don't get me wrong, but it's not as bad as what I usually read lol.
Jess2002 is also one of my favorite Authors. I can always count on her to have a kick ass story line and plot, and what I love the most is that not all of her stories are always Happily Ever Afters. They're filled with angst and love, yet she shows readers that not everyone gets their Prince Charming. I recommend any of her seven stories.
Next is DTS Guru. She has two Twilight stories (rated M) and I really have no words for them. DTS Guru writes from the heart and you can see that in the way she portrays the characters. The two stories I'm talking about are Imprinting stories that involve Paul and either Bella or another character of her own. Both stories are very well written and fantastic to read!
And who could ever forget HammerHips? This woman has owned me since she first came out with 'Underneath your Scars'. Every thing she puts out there in FanFiction is brilliant. It's well written, well thought out and nothing is ever alike! One story might be drama filled with some romance thrown in, and then her next story is pure horror. This woman knows how to expand herself as a writer and I am just thankful that she posts her stories out there so that I can be along for the ride!
Last but not least is one of my most favorite Authors out there since I first started reading FanFiction. Butterflybetty. Two words for her. Fucking genius. I will (and have) read anything that she puts out there because I know that I will like whatever she writes. She has this natural flare as an Author that just pulls the readers in. She is definitely an inspiration!
And there you have it! My personal favorite Author's! Seriously, I recommend any story from any one of them. You won't be disappointed. Thanks again to Cullen818 for letting me do this, it was a lot of fun!
