Naughty Girl For A Day - Jasper's Izzy

OMJ!!! So many things excite me these days...fabulous AH Edward fics, well-written D/s stories starring any of those hawt Cullen men and a yummy, tasteful Jasper/Edward pairing were the emotional connection warms my heart. And, then there are all of those amazing Fandom authors who write all of that sexy, steamy free fiction for us!  How lucky are we?  The talent that is coming into the Fandom these days is unreal, and I can hardly keep up. But, there are a few authors that I savor and will read anything they write. I may or may not secretly fangirl over a few ;)

Today, I'm pleased to squee over one of my ALL TIME FAVE AUTHORS! She's not only a brilliant author, but an extremely cool person and I'm honored to call her my friend! So, when I was asked to post something today, I wondered long and hard about just what I could talk about that might be remotely interesting, and really couldn't come up with a whole lot. Then, Friday night I got in one of those really rare moods to read and decided to find a good story. I don't really get to read much anymore with everything I have going on, so when the chance comes up for me to do so, I find myself wanting to engross myself in a fic that blows my mind.

I combed through story after story, trying to find a good vamp fic to read, and shockingly I came up short. I found nothing that looked interesting, even after three hours of filtering through the four major sites I read from, that I hadn't already read. To say I was disappointed is a vast understatement. I was actually kind of pissed off about it, because heaven knows I found lots of All Human stories.

Now, I can appreciate a good AH story any day, especially the D/s stories that I just love to drool over (inserts drool to prove a point), so I'm not hatin' on them, I just prefer Vamp stories when possible. I am a dark h00r and all. The vamp fics are where my love really lies in the FanFiction world, and it was what I was wanting to read when I set out in search of a good fic.

Usually I can find a few gems here and there that haven't been discovered yet, but after staying up until the wee hours of the morning with no success, I decided to let my voice be heard.

WHERE ARE ALL THE VAMP FICS???

It seems like more and more lately, all that is posted is AH. Again, not hatin', just observing. What's the deal? Why does it feel like we're leaving the true essence of Twilight behind by not posting more vamp fics? Is there just a lack of interest to write them, or are those writing AH stories just looking at the reviews counts for other AH stories and trying to reach that goal? It's a harsh thing to say, but honestly, I've seen people talk about their fics with this mentality. It's... annoying.

I don't want this to be a rant post, and that's not my intention, but I do want to send a call out to my fellow sisters (and brothers) in the FF community and ask … WTMF? We need more vamp fics peeps. I'm not talking dark stories here (although those are nice). I'm talking about just plain ol' vamps. Stories set before, during, or after the saga... alternate universe... something original? Why are there so few of these being posted these days?

I don't have an answer to this question, but I'd like to see it rectified. If you have an idea for a new vamp fic, what's holding you back? Let's remember where Twilight FF started... with the vamps.

So, with that being out of the way, I'd like to give you a few of my favorite dark and naughty vamp fics to read. I'm not going to review them, just throw a few at you so you can read them if you find yourself in the same boat as me. This is the “Izzy's favorite vamp fics” list, and I hope you enjoy these fics as much as I have.

This o/s was brought to my attention by a reader of mine and I'm so glad she told me about it. So, what do we have here?  A fic starring my favorite vamp, who happens to be deliciously dark. It's a total WIN for me!

But, it's so much more than that. I won't give too much away because you'll find you'll get sucked in (pun intended) right off the bat (no pun intended). There's a creative story line, steamy lemon, some smexy blood play and an ending curve ball. Check it out!

My erection was now at full attention and eagerly poking out from underneath the too short apron I had on. She had made me this apron for my birthday last year after we had married. It was a bright blue and tied around the waist, with a large brown cupcake in the center with the words "the key to my heart" written over it.

I had teared up a bit at the gesture. They were the first words I had ever heard her speak, when I handed her a cupcake in my shop that fateful day when we met. It had been raining, and she just so happened to stumble in, looking all wet, cold, beautiful and... wet. I couldn't take my eyes off of her as she huddled in the shop door to get dry.

Poor Edward has no idea if he stands a chance with his coworker Bella, until she hears a strange noise in her house & calls him to check it out for her. Wonderfully written & amusing, this o/s is the perfect thing to put a smile on your face this Sunday. Enjoy!

Cullen818 - Wow! That's what I say when I think about this fic. Izzy has clearly out done herself with Darksper. He is all kinds of hot as a human drinking vampire who has left the Cullen coven. And Bella...well you're going to have to read this fic because you wouldn't believe it if I told you. The darkness in this story defies any other fic in this genre. It's so well developed already and I know there is so much story left to tell. I can't wait! Jasper's Izzy owns this one!

JaspersDarlinKathy - Hmm, let me see how I am going to word this rec exactly right. So, have you ever read a fic that literally grabs a hold of you and refuses to let you go? You know the one's I'm talking about right? The fics that will not, no matter what, let go of your attention. You're sitting on the edge of your seat, biting your lip, begging for an update. Oh yeah that's what this fic does. That's what happens when you start reading this fic and Jasper's Izzy definitely delivers a take on Jasper that makes you plead and beg for more. You'll see what I'm talking about, once you go read it.

TwiCarol - I love this fic so much! It starts off so well and continues on in that vein, never disappointing. Her Darksper is hotness personified, her Bella is amazingly kickass, and her storyline is original, fascinating & captivating. If you are not reading this, you are seriously missing out! And the lemon... *THUD* It is a superbly well-written story & I look forward to seeing where Jasper's Izzy is taking us on this journey with bated breath. There is no doubt in my mind that it is going to be spectacular! I recently got an email from a reader, who shares a love for dark fics. I have a blazoning obvious obsession with Dark characters, so I was happy to hear from someone else who shares my obsession as well. She informed me she had a little Darkward fic, and I ran to read it. I started it late in the evening and read till I could not keep my eyes open any longer, only to continue it the moment I was free the next morning. I could not stop reading this fic.

We have a very human Bella, working and almost done with college, leaving her apartment in Seattle and traveling to Forks for a ten day Christmas vacation. Things turn creepy as she soon realizes she is living a dream she had before she left. It was like With the timely appearances of a one Edward Cullen, who stalked and glared at her in high school, Bella realizes he is not quite right. She knows he is dangerous and his claim on her scares the living daylights out of her, but even though she knows she should run away screaming, she is drawn to him in a way she can't explain. She likes the thrills he gives her. They embark on a journey of mating, love, and dare I say some HAWT luvin'? Yes, yes I do. It is loaded with surprises, some of which I was clinging to every word (oh, who am I kidding, I clung to every word even if it wasn't hot!!) and just when you think you know what is going to happen next or that the excitement is dying down, she hits you with a "WTF" moment and it starts the goodness all over again. Her last updated chapter had my jaw dropping and it is so unexpected you can't help but want to read as fast as your feeble human mind can handle. It was beyond awesome and the cliffhanger she left us on, is frightening in such a sexy way. Luckily, she is close to updating, and we won't have to wait much longer to see what her brilliant mind comes up with.

This fic is dark, but not so dark that everyone can't enjoy it. It's mild in comparison, but deliciously dark enough to swoon (and oh, baby did I SWOON a few times) over the dark Mr. Cullen. He makes you want to be naughty and scared at the same time. Talk about a happy hour cocktail of adrenaline!!! This fic is so under appreciated. I ask you all to run out and leave her reviews for this goodness. Once you get down in to it, you won't get out and make sure to leave her a review for all the chapters. It deserves it.

Cullen818 - This intriguing and creative fic is only one chapter in, but already it shows serious promise. An overwhelming tragedy has occurred within the Cullen family, and now Jasper is left to pick up the pieces. He's bound by a promise that he knows he must keep, but at what cost? I have a feeling a little Darksper is going to be unleashed in this story.

JaspersDarlinKathy - When tragedy strikes in the Cullen family, how will Jasper carry on? A promise made, a human, and a vampire. How do they all fit together? Well you're just going to have to read to find out. Jasper's Izzy definitely has one hell of a story already and if you haven't checked it out yet, I have to wonder, what are you waiting for?

TwiCarol - Sorry that I'm a bit late adding my review in, but I'm here now! When I read the first chapter of this fic, it took my breath away! I obviously can't tell you why, but I will say brace yourselves... it's not for the faint of heart. It is exceptionally well-written & will have you hooked from the beginning. My heart broke for Jasper & I can only imagine how he is going to handle the future & the promise he has made. I am really looking forward to seeing where Izzy is going to take us on this journey. I have no doubt that it is going to be amazing.

Governor Swan has forwarded the persecution of Vampires ever since their existence was revealed. Their leader Aro wants revenge. He sends his best fighter and hater of humans, Edward, to abduct the Governor's daughter Bella. Edward & Bella. DARK. AU.

Wow, this story is amazing. It is so descriptive and just down right terrifying if you put yourself in Bella's position. The story starts out as her just being kidnapped by Edward and Jasper. Two of the Volturi's most powerful vampires and completely ruthless. Bella's father is an activist of sorts against the vampire's and wants them all destroyed, so kidnapping the governor's daughter to get him to bend to their will is their plan. Edward absolultly loathes humans and poor Bella gets the brunt of his rage. He is cruel and lashes out against her every chance he gets while looking at her in disgust and hatred. He takes every chance he gets to be the more dominant creature since he's a vampire and she is human. So why can't he seem to keep his hands off of her when directing her to do something or taking her some where? Jasper doesn't seem to have a problem not touching her when he needs to order her around. Also Jasper suspects something very dangerous for their kind is happening to Edward. Maybe feeling somethings he shouldn't for the human they are forbidden from by vampire law? We don't know what it is yet, because we are only nine chapters in, but it has Jasper worried and Edward acting a little differntly towards Bella. A quote directly from Abyss to give you a little hint "He didn't seem to like hurting her and yet he couldn't stop." We have almost all BPOV with one chapter JPOV so far and it is getting good. It's like a mystery to figure out what is going on behind Edward's mind. He gives subtle hints along the way, but we aren't going to know for sure why he can't seem to stay away from Bella, even when he hates her so much. Edward's dominant nature is alluring and you can't help but wonder what makes him want to treat Bella the way he does. Go read. You won't be disappointed.
